Remembering Our Proud History

This plaque commemorates the ultimate sacrifice of five members from Seaton Scout Troop, founded in 1913, who served their country in the The Great War (1914-1918).

The plaque can be found on the north wall inside St.Gregory's Parish Church, Seaton.

Killed in action in Flanders.
Died 25th September 1915 (age 19).

Died 25th September 1915 (age 18).

1st Battalion, Devonshire Regiment.
Killed in action.
Died 6th November 1917 (age 19).

Thomas George NORTHCOTT
1st Battalion, Somerset Light Infantry.
Killed in action.
Died 5th December 1917 (age 19).

Percy Charles BALL
2nd Battalion, Essex Regiment.
Missing in action.
Died 28th March 1918 (age 20).
